The conversion of an existing hotel into a new
student residence. Located just steps away from McGill University, the project
included the renovation and reorganization of 481 suites, with complete new
high-end finishings. The project included the complete demolition and
reconstruction of all amenity spaces, including a new fitness center complete
with yoga rooms, pilates studios, and a new basketball court. A new 5,000
sq.ft. commercial cafeteria-style kitchen has been added, complete with over
10,000 sq.ft. of dining space.

This project involved bringing certain aspects of a
non-conforming building back up to code as well as mechanical systems
modifications and upgrade, structural remediation of 3 floors of underground
garage, including the demolition and reconstruction of structural slabs and
parking ramps.
